Is Time Travel Possible

The concept of time travel has always been synonymous with the concept of physicists and lepers. But is it really possible? Of course it is. We're doing it right now, aren't we? We are all traveling the future in one second at a time.
But that was not what you were thinking. Can we travel further in the future? Exactly if we can travel close to the speed of light, or in the vicinity of a black hole, time enables us to travel slowly into the future. The really interesting question is whether we can travel to the past.

I am a professor of physics at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and I first heard about the concept of travel from a 1980 episode of Carl Sagan's classic TV series, Cosmos, when I was 7 years old. I made the right decision that one day, I was going to do an in-depth study of the theory that points to such creative and remarkable ideas as Einstein's relationship. Twenty years later, I emerged with a Ph.D. He has been an active researcher in this field and in theory ever since.
Now, one of my doctoral students has just published an article in the journal Classical and Quantum Gravity, explaining how to build a time machine with a very simple construction.
Curves close in time
Einstein's general theory allows the probability that the tivity would be so high that it actually collapses on its own, resulting in a time loop. Imagine that you are traveling on this loop. This means that at some point, you will end up in a moment of the past and start experiencing again at that moment, again - just a little bit like Deja Vu, except you, won't even realize it. Such constructions are often referred to in the research literature as "closed time curves" or CTCs, and are also known as "time machines". Time machines are a product of travel schemes faster than light, and understanding them can improve our understanding of how the universe works.
Over the past few decades, leading physicists such as Cape Thorne and Stephen Hawking have developed seminal work on models of time machines.
The general conclusion from previous research, which includes Thorns and Hawkings, is that nature prevents the evils of the time. This is perhaps best illustrated in Hawking's "Historical Preservation Concepts", which essentially states that nature does not allow changes in its past history, thus saving us from these contradictions. There are times when it is possible to travel.
Probably the most famous of these contradictions over time is the so-called "Grandpa Paradox" in which a traveler goes into the past and kills his grandfather. He changed the course of history in such a way that a contradiction emerges: the traveler was never born so he cannot exist. Many movies and novel plots are based on paradoxes that emerge as a result of time travel - perhaps the most popular films will be Back to the Future movies and Ground Hug Day.
Foreign affairs
Depending on the details, different physiological phenomena may interfere with the physical system to prevent curves such as time off. The need for a special kind of "foreign" case is the most common, which must exist for the existence of a temporary loop. To put it mildly, a foreign matter is a matter of negative mass. The problem is not negative in nature.

Caroline Mallery, a doctoral student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, has published a new model for the time machine in the journal Classical and Quantum Gravity. This new model does not require any negative mass of foreign material and it offers a very simple design.
The malaria model includes two very tall cars. It is made of a material that is not foreign and has parallel positives. One car sped off, stopping the other. Malaria managed to show that in such a setup, a time loop could be found in the space between the cars.
An animation shows how malaria time loop works. As the spacecraft enters the time loop, its future unfolds itself, and it can detect the status of both at any later moment. This animation is from the point of view of an external observer, who is watching the spacecraft enter and emerge from time to time.

So can you build it in your backyard?
If you suspect there is a catch then you are right. The Malaria model requires an infinite density in the center of each car. This means that they contain objects - called singles - with infinite density, temperature, and pressure. Also, unlike the hollows in the inner part of black holes that make them completely invisible from the outside, the hollows in the malaria model are completely naked and observable, and therefore the real physical. Effects.
Physicists do not expect such strange things to happen naturally. Therefore, unfortunately the time machine will not be available anytime soon. However, this work shows that physicists will have to refine their views on why curves are forbidden, as time goes on.
